Lars leads the German restructuring and insolvency practice. He advises German corporate groups on their financial restructurings, often in complex situations. He often acts for fulcrum creditors on innovative restructurings of their borrowers. Lars has been involved in most of the milestone transactions that have shaped the German restructuring and insolvency environment.
Lars joined Freshfields in 1997, and has been a partner since 2003.
