Krystyna is Head of Poland IP and Commercial Litigation. She provides clients with cutting-edge advice on a wide range of intellectual property issues relating to patents, trademarks and copyrights, both contentious and non-contentious.
She advises on a wide range of complex cases, working with both national and international clients on high profile and strategic matters. She represents major international companies in their high profile and exceptionally complex patent and trademark disputes, which requires a significant amount of technical expertise. She advises on cases shaping the fundamentals of patent litigation in Poland and becoming the benchmark for patent cases.
Moreover, Krystyna is one of the most experienced commercial arbitrators in Poland, having participated in over 50 significant arbitration cases in Poland and abroad. As an arbitrator, she acts in proceedings of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), as well as in proceedings before the Court of Arbitration of the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. She is a Vice President of the Arbitration Council of the PCC. She is also a member of the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw where she heads the Department of Intellectual Property and Intangible Goods Law, and is also a Director of the Institute of Private Law.
