Killian Garvey

Practice Areas

Killian regularly appears in planning inquiries and across the higher courts (including the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court) across England and Wales. He acts for both developers and local authorities on a roughly 70/30 split, respectively. He has a particular specialism in residential development.

Planning Resource Magazine’s annual survey ranked Killian as the best planning barrister under 35 in 2022 and 2023. In 2023 Killian was ranked as the 9th best barrister (including amongst Kings Counsel) for residential development in England and Wales.
