Khalfan Khalfan is a partner practising in the Employment & Labour Group. Khalfan practices all aspects of employment and labour law on behalf of employers in Ontario, and advises clients on a broad range of issues including employment standards, employee privacy, corporate immigration, human rights, occupational health and safety, and employee terminations.

Khalfan routinely advises private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, and other private and public companies on a broad range of matters relating to employment and labour and immigration in the context of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, insolvencies, restructuring and outsourcing transactions. He works closely with clients to develop strategies that align with their business objectives while proactively mitigating transactional risks before they arise.

Khalfan is sought out by a variety of clients to advise on contractual and commercial arrangements with employees, including employment agreements, consulting agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements as well as termination arrangements with departing employees. He frequently advises organizations across various sports, including basketball, golf, and hockey. Khalfan is also known for his immigration practice, in which he advises international employers on business immigration requirements.
