Kevin is a dispute resolution lawyer specialising in media law.

Kevin advises leading media and technology companies in relation to defamation, privacy, legislative restrictions, broadcast regulation, copyright, contractual matters and consumer issues. He also advises on general commercial litigation matters in various courts and tribunals.

While Acting Corporate Counsel at a commercial television network, Kevin advised General Counsel and executives on matters related to intellectual property, contracts, litigation, legislative compliance, privacy, transactions and human resources.

Kevin is described in Chambers & Partners as “one of Australia’s best defamation lawyers” with “tremendous experience in the area of media law”.

Kevin has published on media and technology subjects including in LexisNexis Internet Law Bulletin, Privacy Law Bulletin and the Communications Law Bulletin. He presented a paper on 'Libel Tourism' at the New York State Bar Association Fall Conference and has Chair of the Legalwise Annual Media Law Conference since 2020. He is a member of the Communication and Media Lawyers Association, International Media Lawyers Association and the defendant specialist Media Law Resource Centre.
