Keith Billotti

Keith Billotti serves as the Head of Seward & Kissel’s Capital Markets Practice. His practice involves all aspects of corporate and U.S. securities law for domestic and foreign clients.

Keith regularly represents large established public and private companies, as well as, banks, institutional investors and money managers. He routinely advises clients on their growth and development and in a diverse array of transactions, including private and public securities offerings, dual listings, SPACs and mergers and acquisitions. Keith’s experience also includes the completion of joint ventures and private equity financings, representing both the funds providing the capital and the companies seeking funding.

Keith also has experience assisting clients with corporate governance matters, ongoing securities law compliance, trading compliance policies and ‘34 Act disclosure documents, including annual, quarterly and current reports and proxy statements.

He has been recognized by Chambers for his work in the maritime space with sources noting that, “he is a go-to attorney for large finance queries in shipping”. The Legal 500 has also recognized Keith as a Leading Lawyer for his work advising maritime sector clients on corporate and US securities law.

Keith is a regular speaker at industry conferences around the world and is a contributor to Seward & Kissel’s Maritime Blog, which highlights key developments affecting the global maritime industry.
