Career

My practice sits at the intersection of several areas of law, the cross over of public law and private law and often involves cases where there are both contractual and statutory or regulatory law, or other overarching legal principles or emerging legal principles, fundamental human rights or constitutional principles.

This means that my practice covers a wide range of "traditional" areas of law and where they overlap. My cases often involve new law, or where there are legal principles which have not yet both interacted in the same case. I also have an interest in automation and AI and co-host a podcast series; AI and the Law (see 39essex.com for all episodes).
