Kate is a partner in our Global Projects Disputes Practice and leads the firm’s UK public procurement team. She has extensive experience advising public and private sector clients on high value, complex domestic and international projects and disputes across a variety of sectors, including energy, transport, infrastructure, healthcare and defence.
She advises through the full lifecycle of major projects including drafting, negotiating and evaluating tender and contract documentation, structuring, managing and participating in procurement processes and advising clients engaged in all forms of dispute resolution working on the most complex and key strategic mandates for her clients.
Kate joined Freshfields as a trainee in 2009.
She is a committee member of the Procurement Lawyers’ Association.
Kate is a regular contributor to articles on public procurement. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Public Procurement Law Review.
