Kasper Formo Asplin has over 10 years of regulatory experience, and joined Haavind in 2021, strengthening the Banking & Finance team's regulatory capacities.

Asplin specialises in financial services and regulation law and primarily assists Norwegian and foreign investment firms, management companies, credit institutions, payment institutions, insurance undertakings and other institutions who operate in the financial market.

Asplin has extensive experience helping clients with establishments and authorisations, operating conditions, ongoing compliance and governance matters, risk management, and other legal and regulatory situations.

Asplin has particular expertise advising on the implementation of EU regulatory reforms, including MiFID II, AIFMD, CRD IV, Solvency II and PSD II.
