Karen M. Dixon

Karen M. Dixon is a partner of Skarzynski Marick & Black LLP. For over twenty-five years, Karen has devoted her practice to counseling insurers on complex insurance coverage issues and litigating coverage matters on their behalf. Karen has represented insurers in coverage litigation involving general liability, pollution liability, employment practices liability, and workers compensation and employers liability insurance policies. She has substantial experience in working with clients on making coverage determinations, selecting defense counsel, and instituting coverage litigation. Karen addresses coverage issues for underlying claims ranging from toxic torts to invasion of privacy to prescription opioid claims. Karen is a member of both the Illinois and Nebraska bars and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third and Seventh Circuits, as well as numerous federal district courts.
