Mr. Menchaca has extensive experience in restructuring, assisting debtors in defining a comprehensive strategy to deal with special situations, negotiating with creditors, particularly bank creditors, and structuring restructuring plans.
He also advises clients and acts as attorney in bankruptcy proceedings, where he has executed composition agreements, liquidations of groups of companies, and implemented acquisitions of assets and business lines, the latter being one of his fields of expertise, as he regularly handles distressed M&A transactions.
He joined AGM Abogados in 2015 and was appointed as Partner in the Corporate M&A and Restructuring and Insolvency areas in 2023.
Mr. Menchaca is admitted to practice in Spain and in Mexico.
