He has represented Colombian and foreign companies in litigation matters before Arbitration Tribunals and the Colombian Courts. Julio is a member of the Spanish Arbitration Club (CEA) and the International Court of Arbitration in London, United Kingdom. He is a member of the lists of arbitrators of the Courts of Arbitration of the Chambers of Commerce of Medellín, Cali and Pereira.

Work Highlights
Counsel to Constructora LHS S.A.S. in a crucial arbitration dispute concerning the resurfacing of the southern runway at El Dorado Airport in Bogotá, the most vital air transportation hub in the country.
Counsel to Sociedad Portuaria Regional de Cartagena S.A. in a 4-year-long preliminary investigation carried out by the Colombian Competition Agency relating to the Client’s operation as manager and operator of the Port of Cartagena.
Counsel to Oxígenos de Colombia Ltda. in a dispute derived from a contract to provide transportation to support our client’s logistical operation in distributing its goods in several cities in Colombia. Our client terminated the agreement upon the contractor’s serious breach of its obligations. The contractor filed a lawsuit claiming that the agreement was wrongfully terminated and requesting compensation of damages.
