Julia heads the German Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice and assists clients in resolving their business-critical disputes and contentious matters. She has extensive experience in competition litigation as well as handling complex post-M&A, construction and corporate disputes (including D&O liability, joint venture disputes and shareholder claims) both before state courts and arbitral tribunals. She also acts as an arbitrator, particularly in post-M&A disputes. Furthermore, as head of the German ESG team, she coordinates the firm’s cross-practice activities in the rapidly changing ESG space and is a core member of the global ESG team. Her practice focusses on helping clients to mitigate and manage ESG liability risks (including greenwashing, climate change litigation, human rights issues, sustainability disclosures etc.) and supporting them in related contentious disputes.
Julia joined Linklaters in 2007, was admitted to the German Bar in 2011 and elected Partner in 2020.
