Career

Juan Pablo is attorney graduated from Universidad de Chile, Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University and Master of Laws in International Taxation from New York University.

He has 20 years of experience in tax advisory. Before joining EY, Juan Pablo worked at Carey. In addition, he also worked as international associate at Chadbourne & Parke in New York.

Experience

He has provided tax advice to personal clients, local companies Chilean state-owned companies and international clients.

In addition to its international tax expertise, he is part of the financial market segment of EY. As such, he has advised local and foreign financial entities, local companies in the issuance of bonds abroad under 144A/RegS and foreign financial entities acting as custodian or brokers of Chilean securities.

Juan Pablo is professor, author of several papers and frequent participant in seminars and lectures about International Tax Law.
