Nicolás Maturana has concentrated his practice in the area of tax law. He plays a key role in advising clients on both local and international transactions, with a special focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, financing, and capital markets. He also represents clients in administrative and judicial tax proceedings. Additionally, he provides advice to high-net-worth clients on matters of family and estate law.
He joined Claro & Cia. in 2011 and has been a partner since 2022. Between 2016 and 2017, he worked as an international associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York.
He is a professor of the international taxation course at Universidad de los Andes.
He is the representative of the YIN committee of IFA Chile.
He is admitted to practice law in Chile.
He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and IFA Chile.
