As a partner of Brigard Castro, he leads Copyright, Intellectual Property and Trademarks Litigations, and Deposit of Trade Names and Slogans practice areas. He advises local and foreign clients on a wide variety of matters in Intellectual Property and specific litigations on trademark, copyright, patents, sanitary and health registrations.

Mr. Cadena graduated as an attorney from Universidad Nuestra Señora del Rosario in1990. Postgraduate course on Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London.

Also an active member of multiple International Intellectual Property Organizations such as: International Trademark Association (INTA),Asociación Interamericana de la Propiedad Industrial (ASIPI) (Inter- American Industrial Property Association, ASIPI), Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Industrielle (AIPPI) (International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property-AIPPI), Asociación Colombiana de la Propiedad Industrial (ACPI)(Colombian Association of Industrial Property-ACPI),
