Career
Founding partner of Correa Squella since 2005, he graduated in law from the University of Chile (1984), where he also participated in academic activities in the departments of introduction to law, public law, and economic law.
He represents a wide range of clients in the public and private sectors, including national and multinational companies, state agencies, trade associations, and family groups. In his professional practice, he is known as an expert legal advisor who provides strategic and personalized services.
In the judicial sphere, he has represented high-profile cases for companies such as AFP Capital, CMPC, Telefónica, Minera Los Pelambres, Colbún, Chilquinta, State Port Companies, Chilevisión, Crillón, and Probosque, among others. He also represented trade associations such as Acoforag.
He also provides some of these clients with comprehensive services covering legal and tax structuring, their most sensitive matters, and interaction with government authorities.
Finally, he has been a director of ENAMI (2018 and 2022), appointed by CORFO, SALFA, Ladeco, ASILFA, I.M. Trust & Co., and Edyce Ingeniería. In addition, he chaired the Libertades Públicas A.G. association and was a member of the Icare Legal Circle (2018-2023).
Publications
He has also been a columnist for the newspapers Estrategia (1984) and Metropolitano (1999) and the magazines Economía y Sociedad (1984-1987) and Capital (2003-2010), venturing into the genres of literary, theatrical, and political commentary.
