Mr. Vial has an extensive experience in high profile litigation and arbitration, both domestic and international. He recently represented succesfully the canadian Yamana Gold Inc.´s subsidiary, Minera Meridian, in two multimillion dollar cases before the ordinary courts involving alleged royalty rights. He also is currently handling an important dispute between Sembcorp Industries and Aqualia for the construction of a major Water Waste Treatment Plant Northern Santiago. He is also handling two disputes on behalf of Aeigion Corporation´s chilean branch, United Pipelines, in connection with two diffrente projects, one related to AMSA and the other to BHP operations. Mr. Vial has also represented Dominos Pizza International in a comercial dispute before the ICC and has succesfully represented the Fibercement sector in a well known predatory prices antitrust and civil case againt the Australia´s James Hardie. Big wins have also been obtained by Mr Vial for companies such as SQM and Dow Chemicals.
