Joe is Managing Partner and Head of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. Joe handles commercial disputes for financial institutions, corporate clients and state bodies. He has extensive experience in the Commercial Court and with Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms. He is former President of Dublin Solicitors' Bar Association and current Chairman of Danske Bank’s Tracker Mortgage Redress Appeals Panel. Joe advises clients on regulatory and media law matters. He advised US Securities and Exchange Commission on their investigations in Ireland. He advises The Irish Times in media law matters and he acted for the successful party in Ireland’s largest ever jury award in a defamation case.
