Joseph Berklund

Joe is a corporate partner in Atlanta.

Joe is a founding partner of the Atlanta office. He is nationally ranked in advising high-growth companies through all stages of their life cycle in fundraising, M&A and day-to-day matters. Joe also represents leading venture capital, growth equity and private equity funds in investment activities throughout the country. Joe has advised companies or investors on hundreds of venture, growth equity and M&A deals and is known for his efficient, strategic, and practical approach.

Before joining Gunderson Dettmer, Joe co-chaired the emerging company and venture capital group at his prior law firm and prior to that worked as a Venture Capital Associate at Duke Capital Partners. Joe started his career as a business litigator in Miami, Florida where he gained valuable experience.
