Joseph Agostino concentrates his practice on intellectual property law. He prepares and prosecutes U.S. and foreign patent applications, with a concentration in the mechanical arts, U.S. and foreign trademark applications, and copyright applications. He has negotiated and drafted agreements relating to the transfer and licensing of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks and copyrights. Joe handles various intellectual property disputes, including patent inter partes reviews, trademark opposition proceedings, patent and trademark litigation, anti-counterfeiting matters and domain name disputes. He also negotiates and prepares business agreements and documents, including confidentiality, nondisclosure and internet-related agreements. Currently, Joe is advising several clients on new inventions, trademarks, and enforcement matters related to equipment and products designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other contagious viruses.
