Jo specialises in cross-border restructuring and insolvency, and local debt restructuring matters (schemes and judicial management). She also advises on equity and trusts, as well as structured finance. Her work spans contentious, transactional and advisory spheres. Jo is also extensively involved in advising financial institutions on debt restructuring regimes in Singapore, in the context of complex financial transactions. Most recently, she was part of the Committee to Enhance Singapore’s Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency Regime.
Jo is a Fellow of INSOL International, with Honours in INSOL International’s Global Insolvency Practice Course (2018/2019).
She was also previously an Executive Committee Member of the NextGen Programme of the International Insolvency Institute (III), Co-Chair of the Young Insolvency Practitioners’ Committee, Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore, and a Board Member of IWIRC Singapore. She is currently a Member of the Turnaround Management Association and IWIRC Singapore.
