Jillian is the leader of the Dentons Canada Real Estate sector group and co-lead of the Real Estate, Development and Planning group in Calgary. She is also a member of Dentons’ Pension Plan Real Estate Investment Group. Jillian’s practice focuses on commercial real estate and real estate financing transactions. In her transactional practice, Jillian represents a wide range of clients including pension funds and their advisors, real estate companies and public sector entities. She has extensive experience in acquisitions and dispositions of real estate (whether office, industrial, retail or hotel) and the creation of single and two tier joint ventures structures and limited partnerships used in a wide variety of real estate transactions. In her real estate financing practice, Jillian represents pension plans, national banks and insurance companies acting as lenders and her expertise includes traditional real estate financing, construction and project financing, private and public mortgage bond financings as well as credit tenant lease transactions.
