Publications

Mr. Ni has published over sixty articles on international trade and investment law in both domestic and international academic journals. His publication, 'A Comparison of WTO Rules and China's Foreign Economic and Trade Legal System', received the third prize at the 2nd National Foreign Economic and Trade Research Achievement Awards in 2000.

倪律师在国内外学术期刊上发表过六十多篇有关国际贸易和投资法律的文章。所发表的《WTO规则和我国外经贸法制的比较》获2000年第二届全国外经贸研究成果奖三等奖。

Ni Jianlin practices international trade, anti-dumping, trade compliance, M&A, FDI, PE and international commercial dispute resolution.

With more than 20 years of work experience in the field of international trade, Mr. Ni has represented dozens of Chinese companies in responding to anti-dumping and countervailing investigations initiated by EU, the United States, India, Australia and Canada, and achieved good results. Mr. Ni has advised dozens of companies such as hi-tech, new energy and traditional trade industry on trade compliance issues relating to export control and economic sanctions.

Mr. Ni has served as a legal counsel for Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and several government agencies for a long time, advising on Shanghai International Trade Center promotion and the business environment improvement. Mr. Ni persisted in giving the public free speeches on various topics, including Sino-US trade frictions, international trade compliance trends, RCEP and international economic and trade rules, laws and policies of Free Trade Zone, "Belt and Road" and cross-border investment for governments, universities, associations and enterprises. He also compiled the Shanghai Enterprise International Business Risk Prevention and Compliance Guide as part of the “innovative foreign-related rule of law practice, Shanghai’s pioneering exploration of building an international economic and trade compliance legal service system,” it was awarded one of the top 10 excellent rule of law construction cases in Shanghai in 2022. Mr. Ni currently acts as the director of the International Law Committee of Shanghai Bar Association, serving the country's strategic needs for foreign-related rule of law.

倪建林律师主要执业领域为国际贸易及反倾销、贸易合规、跨境并购、外商直接投资和国际商事争议解决。

凭借二十多年在国际贸易领域的学术研究和工作经验，代理了几十家中国企业对欧盟、美国、印度、澳大利亚和加拿大的反倾销反补贴应诉，取得了良好的效果。并为数十家企业，涵盖高科技、新能源和传统外贸等行业，提供出口管制、经济制裁等国际贸易合规法律服务。

倪律师长期担任上海市商务委员会和多家政府机构的专家顾问，为推进上海国际贸易中心建设，提升营商环境建言献策。坚持长期开展公益讲座，为政府部门、高校、协会和企业等各界作过超两百场有关中美贸易摩擦应对、国际贸易合规趋势、RCEP和国际经贸规则、自贸区法律政策、“一带一路”与跨境投资的公开演讲。曾编撰《上海企业国际化经营风险防范与合规指南》，作为“创新涉外法治实践，上海率先探索构建国际经贸合规法律服务体系”组成部分，荣获2022年度上海市法治建设十大优秀案例。现担任上海市律协国际法专业委员会主任，服务于国家对涉外法治的战略需求。
