Jennifer Byun is counsel in the Corporate, Technology, and Privacy & Data Protection Groups. Her practice focuses on commercial, technology, privacy, and governance matters.
In her practice, Jennifer regularly advises clients on commercial contracts, including complex business process outsourcings, joint ventures, transition arrangements, sales and procurement activities, and provides contract management support in client’s day-to-day in-house legal activities. She also advises clients on domestic and cross-border acquisitions and divestitures involving technology companies, businesses, and assets. Jennifer provides governance and in-house support for private company clients across a broad range of industries in drafting and reviewing policies, board committee charters and providing a practical risk management framework for risk oversight.
Jennifer works closely with the Knowledge Management Group to develop and refine tools used by the corporate services practice and to standardize work processes, provide legal support for in-house legal operations, including process mapping, designing process improvements, managing legal content and streamlining reporting. She has identified and implemented automation tools and other legal technologies to enhance work product and meet client demands at the firm.
