Jenell Gibson is a Partner at One Legal Caribbean and serves as Legal Counsel to the Eastern Caribbean Asset Management Corporation in its capacity as Receiver of ABI Bank Ltd (in Receivership). She is a skilled commercial litigator and legal advisor with almost a decade of experience representing public institutions and private sector clients throughout the Eastern Caribbean, with a primary focus on commercial litigation, commercial transactions, corporate governance, and real estate transactions.
Jenell graduated from the UWI Cave Hill Campus in 2014 having obtained a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours. She then went on to obtain her Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School, graduating in 2016 on the Principal's Roll of Honour and with multiple prizes for her academic performance. She pursued her Master of Laws specialising in International Commercial Law at University College London (UCL) under the Chevening Scholarship and graduated with distinction in 2020. Jenell is also a qualified corporate secretary, having completed the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada's International Qualifying Program.
Jenell is admitted to practice in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda, and Montserrat. She has appeared before the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal, acting on behalf of government agencies such as the Inland Revenue Department and prominent regional corporations. Her litigation portfolio includes high-value matters involving taxation, contract disputes, corporate governance, and bankruptcy proceedings. Jenell was ranked in the Chambers Global Guide 2025 & 2026 as "Up and Coming" in General Business Law (Antigua and Barbuda).
