Career
Jenell Gibson is a Senior Associate in Dentons’ Antigua and Barbuda office and is a member of the regional Corporate and Commercial practice group. She also focuses on real estate and commercial litigation across a variety of industry sectors. Jenell graduated from the UWI Cave Hill Campus in 2014 having obtained a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours. She then went on to obtain her Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School, graduating in 2016 on the Principal's Roll of Honour and with prizes for her academic performance. She pursued her Master of Laws focused on International Commercial Law at University College London (UCL) under the Chevening Scholarship and graduated with a distinction in 2020.
Jenell has been practicing law since 2016. She was first called to the bar in St. Vincent and the Grenadines where she acquired a wide breadth of experience in areas such as banking law, commercial litigation, real estate law, personal injury, family law and taxation. During her years of practice, Jenell has appeared as the lead advocate before the Magistrates Court, High Court and the Court of Appeal. In addition to practicing as an attorney-at-law, Jenell was also a part-time lecturer at the UWI Open Campus, St. Vincent and the Grenadines where she taught the course Introduction to Real Estate Law.
