Jeff Barber focuses his practice on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. He regularly represents clients in bankruptcy proceedings, state court receivership proceedings, and assists them in restructurings.
Jeff has served as an adjunct professor of Debtor-Creditor Law at the Mississippi College School of Law and has completed the American Bankruptcy Institute and St. John’s University School of Law Bankruptcy Mediation Training. He also lectures frequently on bankruptcy and creditors' rights matters and is the author of several published works, including the chapter on Debtor-Creditors Rights in the Encyclopedia of Mississippi Law (West) and the Mississippi Chapter of the Trigild Guide to Receivership and Foreclosure.
