Jeff Lewis

Jeff is a Partner in our litigation team.

A highly experienced commercial litigator, Jeff is known for his tenacity and dedication in fighting on behalf of his clients.

He advises on contract disputes, warranty claims, landlord and tenant disputes, professional negligence, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, restrictive covenants and judicial review. He acts for a wide range of clients and many household names.

Jeff also specialises in property litigation and was involved in one of the UK’s leading dilapidations cases. He is also experienced in financial services and sport-related disputes.

Jeff is an experienced accredited mediator and is listed on various mediation panels such as Sports Resolution and North West Mediation Solutions.

Jeff will take over as Deputy Vice President of The Law Society in October 2026 and be President of the Law Society in 2028/29. He is a former President of Manchester Law Society and continues to sit on its Council.

He is also Chair of Manchester Law Society’s Civil Litigation Committee and convenor of the Manchester Circuit Commercial Court Users’ Committee. He is also a member of The Law Society’s Civil Justice Committee and a member of the Property Litigation Association.

Jeff also sits as a Deputy District Judge and holds Higher Rights of Audience in civil cases.
