Jean Thio is a partner in the Global Financial Markets Group of Clifford Chance.
She specialises in a wide range of debt and equity capital markets transactions as well as US securities work, including US regulatory and compliance matters.
Jean regularly advises Chinese clients on US legal issues in relation to OFAC sanctions, US Investment Company Act and FATCA. She also works on compliance and private placement matters for Chinese issuers listed on the US stock exchanges.
Jean joined Clifford Chance in 2008 and became a partner since 2011.
Jean is admitted in England & Wales, Singapore and New York.
