Jan Missoul

Practice Areas

As counsel in AKD’s Brussels Banking & Finance practice group Jan specialises in Project Finance with a particular focus on renewables (onshore and offshore wind, solar, biomass) and infrastructure (PPP) projects, Leveraged Finance, Real Estate Finance, Structured Finance and Debt Capital Markets. He also has extensive experience of Euroclear-related matters and securities law.

He advises borrowers as well as lenders, including private equity firms, project sponsors, developers and national and international financial institutions.

He assisted in the takeover of several financial institutions and advised on legal and regulatory aspects of the supervision of the financial markets.

Career

Before joining AKD, Jan worked at another major Benelux law firm for almost 12 years, where he advised, among others, project developers, sponsors and international banks on various offshore and onshore wind projects in Belgium and abroad.
