Practice Areas

James is an experienced litigator in Freshfields’ London dispute resolution team. His practice involves the defence and co-ordination of international litigation involving defendants party to complex mass litigation, typically in the product liability and environmental damage spheres. James also regularly advises clients on how to appropriately engage with regulators and manage regulatory risk. He is currently acting for various Volkswagen group companies in the NOx emissions litigation.
