James Fry

James has been individually ranked by Chambers and Partners in the Hotels and Leisure sector. He specialises in all aspects of commercial real estate with a particular expertise in the hotel and leisure sectors.

James is passionate about the built environment and its aesthetic as well as the economics of real estate as an investment. He had no hesitation in specialising in this fascinating and ever changing sector on qualifying over twenty five years ago. Whilst he considers himself adaptable with the skill set and experience he has gained, he has a focus on hotel investment and development and he acts for a number of hotel owner-operators (both brand franchised and independent), investors and developers on all real estate related issues including acquisitions and disposals, development, funding, structuring and corporate support.

Outside of the office, James is a keen tennis and squash player, golfer, gardener and rock drummer.
