Private Client Services: Wedlake Bell’s private client group consists of the private client, residential property and family teams. Whilst other law firms have shifted their focus from private to corporate clients, Wedlake Bell has consolidated its team of tax, trust and estate lawyers, advising on the following areas:

■ UK taxation and tax planning (income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax and also the taxation of offshore companies and structures)
■ Trusts and foundations and their use in tax planning
■ Tax and estate planning for clients coming to and leaving the UK

■ Disputed inheritances, wills and trusts
■ Charities (including charitable foundations)

Real Estate Services:The firm is a full-service real estate practice with a reputation for dealing with high-value development and investment work. It acts for a diverse range of domestic and international clients: investors, developers, banks, owner-occupiers and tenants, universities and charities. The firm has a very broad spread of clients in many different sectors. It works extensively with other specialists within the firm in related practice areas such as construction, planning and environmental, disputes, banking, corporate and tax.
