Jacques Meunier is a Partner in the Corporate and Finance Practice Group.
With more than 25 years experience, Jacques advises international and domestic clients on corporate law matters in general and, more specifically, on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital, takeover bids and capital market transactions.
Jacques’ clients include companies active in the healthcare, hospitality, life sciences, IT, retail, luxury goods, construction and private equity industries, as well as investment funds and family offices.
Jacques holds a law degree from the University of Louvain (UCL, 1994), a post-graduate degree in international public law from the University of Leiden (Leiden, 1995) and an LL.M. in international business law from King’s College (London, 1996).
Prior to joining Liedekerke in 2018, Jacques worked at other international law firms.

Assisting Bindewald & Gutting in the acquisition of Cérès from InVivo (as Belgian counsel to an international referring law firm).
Assisting Natra (backed by PE fund CapVest) on all Belgian aspects of their acquisition of the Gudrun Group (as Belgian counsel to an international referring law firm).
Assisting Wallonie Entreprendre, Noshaq and Resa in their equity and debt investment in Ecostal.
Assisting Honotel in the acquisition of several hotels in Belgium.
Assisting Cohabs, active in the co-living sector, with all their equity and debt financings (for several hundred millions Euros) since 2020.
Assisting Kiwa, a global company in the TIC industry, with its strategic acquisition of Vinçotte and with its representation before the Belgian Competition Authority. Vinçotte is the largest inspection company in the Benelux, providing safety inspections, quality checks, tests and certificates for a wide range of industries and sectors.
Assisting SFPIM and Crédit Mutuel in their investment in CE+T Group.
