All aspects of personal injury and clinical negligence work, particularly cases involving gynaecological, spinal, orthopaedic and brain injuries. From misplaced swabs to spinal injuries to birth accidents; as with his approach to personal injury work his motto used to be: 'No case too big-no case too small.' In Silk he has recalibrated this to: 'Big, Bigger and Bigger Still...oh my!' The bulk of Jacob’s personal injury work comprises spiners, minors, brainers and rear-end shunters -all with catastrophic consequences. Known for his sympathetic and empathetic manner - Jacob continues to work through all hours to get the job done. He also undertakes professional negligence cases; specifically personal injury and clinical negligence claims that have gone awry.

Increasing workload has hijacked his free time - so thank goodness for boxsets. Otherwise; fanatical film and music buff, failed but ongoing screenwriter and gig-goer. His byline is: 'Eat football, sleep football practice PI and Clin Neg'. And settle Schedules of Loss -endlessly. Jacob still operates as the Gigmeister General–and continues to watch old, re-formed, re-warmed Punk, New Wave and Blues bands whilst drinking single malt.
