J D Weinberg

J. D. Weinberg has been advising companies on their most important strategic transactions for over 30 years. He represents buyers, sellers, and financial advisors in connection with domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions, including acquisitions of public companies, negotiated sales of private companies, private equity transactions, and strategic investments. J. D. has advised numerous boards of directors in change of control situations and governance matters.

J. D. leads the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions group.

J. D. regularly represents companies across a wide array of industries, including technology, life sciences, financial services, consumer products and industrials.

J. D. is a member of the Committee on Mergers, Acquisitions and Proxy Contests of the New York City Bar Association. He serves on the advisory board of Young New Yorkers, which runs arts-based diversion programs to court-involved young people in New York City.
