Career
Horácio Veiga de Almeida Neto joined the Firm in 2011 as a senior lawyer and became a partner in 2019. He is a litigator who regularly leads complex, high profile disputes in judicial and administrative courts, and is an expert in Customs Law Consultancy related to the Oil and Gas industry, with emphasis on import/export, tax customs regimes such as the REPETRO and charter agreements. He is the head of the Tax litigation Practice of the Rio de Janeiro Office and represent clients before all administrative and judicial tax courts being regularly involved in a significant number of the country’s highest-profile matters.
