Flavia Amaral holds a law degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedural Law from Cândido Mendes University, and a specialization in Corporate Law and Capital Markets from Fundação Getulio Vargas. She also holds the CIPM and CDPO/BR certifications granted by the IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals).
Activities outside the office
Flavia Amaral coordinates the Intellectual Property, Franchising and Fashion Law Unit of the Italo-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (Italcam). She is also a full member and secretary of the OAB/SP Special Franchising Committee, and teaches in the postgraduate specialization course of the Escola Superior de Advocacia da OAB/SP (ESA), in the areas of Intellectual Property, Entertainment, Media and Fashion Law.
