Helen was called to the Bar in 2002, following which she undertook pupillage at 2 Temple Gardens and became a tenant in 2004. Helen specialises in clinical negligence and personal injury (including accidents abroad). She has been recognised for many years as a leading junior in both practice areas. Acting for both claimants and defendants, Helen is particularly known for her work in exceptionally sensitive cases or those involving catastrophic injury.

Helen was appointed a Recorder (Crime, Midlands Circuit) in 2023. She is an elected member of the PNBA’s Executive Committee.
