After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Law, he completed an LLM, International Competition Law & Policy from the University of East Anglia, UK.
He worked in the Turkish Competition Authority (TCA) as a Competition Expert. As a former Competition Expert who worked in the TCA for more than 11 years, he is well-equipped to understand the approach and the mindset of the case handlers, TCB, and TCA as a whole. During his tenure at TCA, he also took roles in teams that prepared several important legislations. Since he is among the people who took part in the preparations of the important secondary regulations of TCA, he can offer accurate evaluations with regard to the objective and the purpose of the relevant legislation.
Haluk Arı left TCA in 2009 and he has been acting as a lawyer with a specialization in competition law. During his long and successful career, Haluk Arı advised many clients from varying fields of industry. His extensive knowledge of competition law allows him to quickly adapt to the varying needs of his clients, regardless of the sector they operate in.
