Bulut Girgin

Bulut Girgin is the partner heading the Competition and Compliance practice areas. He has over 15 years of experience in sectors such as telecommunications, FMCG, automotive, construction, media and technology. Bulut provides strategic advice on competition law and compliance to both local and international companies. He represents clients in cartel investigations, abuse of dominant position and other competition investigations before the Competition Board, other regulatory authorities, administrative courts and the Council of State. Having managed some of the most complex mergers and acquisitions in the field of competition law, Bulut has extensive knowledge in the conduct of mergers and acquisitions transactions. He also develops comprehensive compliance programmes to help companies comply with changing legislation. These programmes cover competition law as well as anti-corruption, internal investigations and other regulatory compliance processes. Bulut also lectures on competition law at leading universities in Turkey, such as Koç University.
