He has been the NFL’s principal outside counsel for more than 25 years and played a lead role in each of the NFL’s major trial and appellate victories during that period, including Brown v Pro-Football, Inc, decided by the US Supreme Court, Brady v. NFL, upholding the NFL’s 2011 player lockout, and Clarett v. NFL, upholding the NFL’s draft eligibility rules.
