Practice Areas
Giulio Vecchi has extensive experience in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sectors. He assists Italian and international companies by providing advice, also in the context of extraordinary transactions, on regulatory issues relating to media and telecommunications, intellectual property protection, advertising and e-commerce. He also provides assistance in the negotiation of complex commercial agreements and more generally on issues related to the transformation of services in the digital environment.
He has gained significant experience in the field of personal data protection, assisting clients in the management of their data assets and in the definition of compliance programs. In addition, he supports clients in the definition of technology contracts and legal issues related to IT systems, also in the context of M&A transactions.
His professional background includes experience as corporate counsel in a leading global media company, as well as experience in top Italian and international firms.
Career
Giulio Vecchi joined LCA in 2022. In the past, he has worked as corporate counsel for the group now called Paramount (including media brands such as MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount) and with the IP/TMT departments of Hogan Lovells, Legance and Chiomenti.
He has also been lecturer and teaching coordinator of the postgraduate course in “The Law of Media and New Technologies” at the University of Milan.
He has been included in the EDPB’s Support Pool of Experts for new technologies and information security.

Member of the Milan Bar (Italy), 2007.
Giulio is co-director of the Hub Regulation of the Branded Entertainment Observatory, an association that brings together key players from the media, advertising and audiovisual production sectors.

He is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences and is the author of several articles published in legal journals and industry publications.
