Agostino Migone De Amicis

He is particularly experienced in healthcare, pharmaceutical, nutraceutics and medical device matters, clinical trials and research, holding public interest functions and dealing with regulatory and compliace (data protection, prevention of corrupt practices, behavioral models and vigilance) issues. He assists domestic and international industrial companies and research institutions in all sectors governed by special regulations, taking care of judicial and non-litigation activities, extraordinary transactions, related civil, criminal and administrative procedures.

Before joining LCA in 2021 he was a member of the Law Firm Pavia e Ansaldo, heading the Life Sciences&Regulatory Department. In the past he was an assistant professor of the Chair of International Law at the University of Milan.

He has been appointed by Regione Lombardia for the reform of clinical trials regulations.

He is a member of: Independent Ethics Committee of Istituto Clinico Humanitas (and Chairman since 2014); National Cancer Institute of Milan; Healthcare Committee of Federmanager; Life Sciences Desk and Life Sciences Working Group of Assolombarda.

From 2016 to 2018 he was Director of the Research Foundation “Istituto Neurologico Nazionale Carlo Besta” in Milan.

Lecturer and speaker on clinical trials, privacy and clinical research, biobanking, compliance in the pharma sector and pharmacovigilance, he is the author of several publications on the same matters.
