Career

Giovani Bruno Tomasoni joined the Firm in 2008 and became partner of the Environmental, Consumer and Sustainability practice group in 2020. He practices with focus on Environment, Public Law, Energy, Forestry, and helps clients in the internalization of concepts such as sustainability, ESG, circular economy, climate change, environmental compliance, among others.

He worked in the NGO Minority Rights (London) in 2008 in the construction of the campaign 'A show of hands' about the impacts of climate change on world minorities.

Lately, he has advised clients in social environmental compliance reviews and definition of action plans to mitigate risks of the operations.

Member of the Environmental Committee of the Bar Association in São Paulo;

Member of the UBAA – União Brasileira da Advocacia Ambiental.

Personal

He graduated from Faculdade de Direito de São Bernardo do Campo with a degree in Law and from Pontifícia Unviersidade Católica São Paulo with specialization in Public Law. He also holds a master's degree in Environmental Law from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1). Has recently attended the course on Sustainable Capitalism and ESG from Berkeley Law.
