Gerard represents lenders, borrowers, sponsors and investors in sophisticated U.S. and international financing transactions in a variety of industries. Typical transactions include: asset-based loans; leveraged loans; acquisition financings; recapitalizations; bridge facilities; venture loan transactions; complex intercreditor arrangements; and other secured financing transactions. He has extensive experience in financial and corporate restructurings and workouts, cross-border and multi-currency financings, debtor-in-possession financings and exit financings, as well as project finance transactions, leveraged leasing, aircraft and other equipment financings, and transfers of portfolios of loans and leases. Gerard is a member of On-Chain: Reed Smith’s Crypto & Digital Assets Group, and he advises clients on a variety of crypto-related transactions.
