George specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration. His practice covers business agreements and heavy fraud and contract disputes of all kinds, often involving a major international element and across all sectors. In addition to being a trial lawyer, he is adept at navigating the full spectrum of interim orders such as asset freezing injunctions, other interim injunctions, disclosure orders and Norwich Pharmacal Relief.
He has extensive advocacy experience in the Commercial Court, the Chancery Division and the Court of Appeal in England. George is also called to the Bar of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (BVI), and the Trinidad & Tobago Bar and frequently appears in litigation in that region.
Recent high-profile cases include Tugushev v. Orlov (fraud, contract, and freezing injunction), Auden McKenzie v. Patel (misrepresentation), The Namalco Litigation in Trinidad & Tobago (construction and contract), The Libyan Investment Authority v. SocGen (fraud and bribery), and Tatneft v. Bogolyubov (fraud).
