Based in Dusseldorf and Munich, Frank-Erich leads the patent litigation team at Freshfields in Germany. Over more than 25 years, he has built an extensive track record in patent litigation and enforcement, acting for a wide range of national and international clients before the specialised patent courts in Germany which enables him to give strategic advice and concentrate on key issues during litigation. In addition to pharmaceutical-related and biotech cases, the focus of his work includes patents in the automotive, technology and telecommunication sectors. On the non-contentious side, he specialises in technology transfer and licensing work.
