Fiona is a dynamic and strategic litigator specializing in intellectual property (IP) law, with a strong focus on the life sciences, telecommunications, and technology sectors. She provides expert counsel on IP strategy, patent and Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) proceedings, as well as regulatory, trademark, and copyright matters. Fiona’s practice is centered on complex commercial intellectual property litigation, where she has built a robust trial and appellate record.

Recognized as a trusted advisor to some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical and technology companies, Fiona has successfully managed multi-jurisdictional patent enforcement actions and played a pivotal role in landmark patent cases, including Canada’s first biologics and non-practising entity (NPE) cases.

Fiona’s proven track record of success spans significant rulings at the Ontario Superior Court, Ontario Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Federal Court of Appeal, reflecting her deep expertise and commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for her clients.
