Insolvency and Restructuring
Partner at PPU, expert in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial proceedings (arbitration and insolvency). He has advised local and international clients structuring and implementing new businesses, joint ventures, corporate matters, commercial contracts, corporate reorganizations and foreign investments, and has successfully represented debtors and creditors in the solution of corporate crises in both formal insolvency proceedings and out-of-court reorganizations. He has broad experience in dispute resolution related to construction contracts and public services, complex distribution transactions and corporate matters, and he is an arbitrator before the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota, Chamber of Commerce of Medellín, Superintendence of Companies and the arbitration court of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris. He is a professor in contract law at the Universidad Javeriana, and a frequent lecturer in his areas of expertise in different forums. Former director of commercial law studies at the Universidad Javeriana, and ex-president of the Legal Services Chamber at the Colombian Association of Entrepreneurs (ANDI).
Member of the list of arbitrators of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, Colombia.
